MARVELOUS MONDAY MOMENT
In the past month we have seen devastation, destruction, and irreversible damage dipslayed in our nation and other parts of the world. Hurricanes, Harvey, claiming at least 60 lives, Irma, claiming at least 25 in the Carribean, and an earthquake in Mexico measuring 8.1 on the rihchter scale taking the lives of at least 95 people. We have prayed, cried, and prayed some more as we watched the news, tracked the storms and witnessed islands and families torn apart. Tons of materials, much needed supplies and the volunteered sacrificial lives of rescue personnel and just plain citizens have poured into two states, Texas and Florida, in hopes of RESTORING, REBUILDING and ...REDEMPTION!
Today also marks the 16th anniversary of America's first homeland terrorist attack, where almost 3,000 people lost their lives in the 9/11 attack. Periods of silence were invoked in commemoration ceremonies throughout our nation for those who lost their lives, gave their lives and the families of those whose lives were changed forever as a result of that fateful day 16 years ago. And today also marks a month that I have been in a mode of helping to RESTORE, REBUILD, and RESTRUCTURE the quality of life for my mother after a surgery that she had 5 months ago and several mishaps that have happened recently since then.
It will be weeks, months, and years to RESTORE, REBUILD, and RESTRUCTURE the millions of lives and the billions of dollars worth of damage from this past months catastrophies. But one thing is for certain, "WE WILL REBUILD", has been the clarion call and decree from the bruised hearts and hopeful lips of many! And by the GRACE of God that is what we ALL will do!
Now that's MARVELOUS!
